News Regarding the 2020 MHS Career Internship Program
We hope this finds you and your family in great health and good spirits.
Over the past three weeks,
the faculty and administration of Montclair High have been working
diligently to try to maintain some semblance of the normalcy and
traditions that make up the academic and extracurricular life of MHS
Seniors. Unfortunately, the NJ State mandate to maintain social
isolation has shuttered businesses, as well as our school, making it
impossible for us to coordinate the implementation of the MHS Career
Internship Program (CIP). It is with sadness that we must cancel CIP for
this school year.
For those of you who had
already secured an internship, please reach out to your Mentors
personally to let them know that the program has been cancelled due to
the COVID-19 crisis. Thank them for their willingness to share their
expertise with you. (We will also be reaching out to all of the Mentors
in our database to inform them of this decision.)
The cancellation of CIP
means that all Seniors will continue with their distance learning
studies until the social isolation restrictions are lifted.
Stay strong. Stay safe. Stay healthy. We Mounties will endure!
Most sincerely,
The Career Internship Program Team:
Sally Howell-Rembert, Assistant Principal
Anthony Grosso, Principal
Elsa Napolitano, Administrative Assistant
