School Counseling

Welcome to the Montclair High School's Office of School Counseling web page. Please use the navigation menu to your left in order to access pertinent information.

Every student at Montclair High School is assigned a School Counselor whose primary academic role is to promote college and career readiness through the course selection process, while also assuring students are on track towards meeting state and local gradation requirements. Counselors will meet with students on a yearly basis to explore skills and interest, and map out a plan that aligns with their college and career goals. Students are strongly encouraged to seek out their counselors for assistance in meeting their educational, social, and personal needs.

HESAA has released its digital guide to attending college in New Jersey.  This publication compiles financial and informational resources for students seeking to explore the depth and diversity of post-secondary educational opportunities available in the garden state.  Click the link below to learn more.
