Career Internship Program (CIP) - Update:

Presentation #2 (updated 5/11/2022)

By Friday, March 25, 2022, the following tasks need to be completed: 

  • Students are required to complete the Student Application
  • Guardians are required to complete the Transportation and Medical forms located in the Parent Portal of Genesis.
  • The Liability form will be sent to student’s MPSDNJ email and guardian’s email upon successful submission of the Student Application. Liability forms MUST be printed and notarized* to be submitted to the TEAM 3 office AFTER-SCHOOL ONLY.

*Notaries will be available at MHS on March 23rd and March 24th 2:35pm – 3:35pm in the LGI, free of cost.  Guardians must accompany their student. Guardian and students must bring the printed liability form, and Photo I.Ds.

At this time, students should be actively searching for an internship location.

  • The supervised internship must be at least 20 hours per week, within a 50-mile radius, and unpaid.
  • If your student is in need of assistance securing a mentor, a mentor database will be available the week of March 21st on the Senior Google Classroom.

News Regarding the 2022 MHS Career Internship Program

The Career Internship Program will run from Monday, May 16th through Friday, June 24th. Eligible Seniors will sign out of MHS on Friday, May 13th. To get a better idea of the number of Seniors that plan to participate, we asked the Class of 2022 to complete a brief Google Survey that was emailed to their accounts, as well as posted to the Class of 2022 Google Classroom. More detailed information about eligibility, requirements for mentors, and the parameters by which your CIP experience will be expected to operate will be provided in the very near future.
