Description of Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of curriculum and instruction in the area of world language and English as a Second Language for grades K-12. Oversee Title III English Language Learner (ELL) and Immigrant funds. Report to the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent of Equity, Curriculum & Instruction.    

What I do for you:
Facilitate best practice in the area of second language acquisition through ongoing supervision, evaluation, and coaching. Collaborate with  faculty and staff to best support English Language Learners throughout the district.

What you can do to help me:
Familiarize yourself with the scope and sequence of the world language and/or ESL program, as well as the various supports and opportunities that the department offers. In the area of ESL, please be aware of the protocols that are in place when entering, exiting, and monitoring identified ELLs in the program.

Any inquiries or concerns pertaining to second language acquisition for students in grades K-12.
